The English Woodland Garden

The bar and reception area lead out onto the English Woodland Garden. The woodland stretches along the length of the venue from the fishpond to the flamingos.

A perfect location for garden entertainment to be viewed either from inside, through the full-length windows, or from the garden itself.

Altogether we have over 30 different species of trees in the woodland garden, including trees from the original planting over sixty years ago, despite there being only a metre deep of soil in which to grow.

Our collection includes Ailanthus, Oaks, Willow, Lime, Silver Birch, Apple, Mulberry, Cherry, Field Maple, Hornbeam and a Medlar.
